A Limited edition release of Douglas Laing’s Scallywag has been unveiled.
Scallywag #2 is a 54.1% ABV cask strength Speyside blended malt created using spirit from a number of Speyside distilleries, including Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes distilleries.
Douglas Laing’s managing director Fred Laing said the new release combines a fun pack with “seriously good quality whisky”.
Just 4800 bottles of Scallywag #2 will be available globally. Its launch comes three years after the release of the inaugural Scallywag, whose name was inspired by the Laing family’s long line of wire fox terriers.
