Hoteliers seeking an island business might be interested in the Broadford Hotel on the Isle of Skye.
The hotel reportedly dates back to the year 1611, and is said to be the ‘original home’ of whisky-based liqueur Drambuie.
After being acquired in 2013 by current owner Perle Hotels, which is said to have “significantly” refurbished the hotel, the property is now on the market to allow the “development and improvement” of Perle’s other two hotels in Portree.
The property comprises 11 letting bedrooms, a lounge, bar area, function room and a separate public bar.
Selling agent Colliers International is inviting offers in the region of £725,000 for the Broadford Hotel.
