An online purchasing system founded by a former hotelier has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Procure Wizard allows companies to place orders and pay invoices via an online portal and is used by several of the UK’s biggest hotel groups. It is said to have nearly 10,000 users, who spend more than £12 million a week.
The Edinburgh-based business was set up by William Gorol, a hotelier with 20 years experience in the industry, in 2009. It now employs 25 people across offices in Edinburgh and Liverpool.
