Pub company Admiral Taverns is holding an open day for prospective licensees this month at The Stirling Court Hotel on the University of Stirling campus.
Admiral Taverns business development manager for Scotland David Balmanno will be on hand at the May 25 event to welcome would-be and current pub operators, providing information about careers in the pub industry as well as detailing the opportunities on offer.
The pubco, which currently operates 17 pubs in Scotland as part of a UK-wide estate of around 1000 venues, is on a recruitment drive with available premises including the Backo Hill in Stirling and the Lord Nelson in Edinburgh.
Balmanno said the firm has a “great estate” spread across Scotland, adding that he is “looking forward to hosting the open day in Stirling and speaking to potential licensees about life in the pub industry”.
“We currently have opportunities in Ayrshire, Perthshire, Stirling and Dundee but we are looking to grow our network of people across the country as we look to expand,” he said.
