A PUNJABI restaurant in the capital has come onto the books of property agents Cornerstone.
Established in 1981, Khushi on Broughton Street is described as “one of the most authentic and well-regarded Punjabi restaurants in Edinburgh”.
Having operated the eatery for 35 years, restaurateur Muhammed Akram MBE is selling in order to retire from the trade and focus on voluntary work.
Barry McNeil, director of Cornerstone, said it is “very rare” to sell a business that has been under the same ownership for this length of time. The business is being offered on a new lease at a premium of £50,000.
