A pub in the Scottish Borders village of Lilliesleaf has recently changed hands in a deal brokered by property agents Bruce & Co.
The Plough Inn, near Melrose, was sold on behalf of Mr Boyd, who has owned the business for the past seven years.
New owner Mr De Zoeten is said to be planning to utilise the property’s four letting rooms, which were not previously used as guest accommodation.
The sale also included owner’s accommodation located above the premises.
Safa Sultan, sales negotiator at Bruce & Co, said the freehold property attracted four viewings before the sale was agreed.
“It was a pleasure dealing with the buyer and vendor and I wish them the best for the future,” she said.
