Glasgow bartenders left Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) staff all shook up last week at the regional heat for the Schweppes National Bartender Competition.
Eight bartenders from venues across the city mixed cocktails in three different rounds, showing off their skills by producing mocktails and cocktails as well as thinking on their feet in a final ‘mystery box round’.
Lewis Marshall of The Anchor Line was crowned the winner, picking up a £100 shopping voucher and £500 worth of Schweppes stock and additional brand support for his venue. Marshall will now go on to compete against bartenders from across the UK in the London final, which has a top prize of £2500 in holiday vouchers and a £6000 bar investment.
The Glasgow heat was judged by Schweppes brand team member Graeme Robb and SLTN’s Matthew Lynas.
