A village bar and restaurant in Fife has been acquired by experienced licensed trade operators Bryan and Michelle Coghill.
Described as a well-established business with “genuine trading potential”, 43 Main Street in Milton of Balgonie was snapped up by the Coghills, who already run successful businesses in the area.
Property agent Cornerstone began marketing the venue in autumn 2015 and concluded the sale early last month.
Barry McNeil, director of Cornerstone, said the business attracted interest from “several parties” before the deal was done.
“With the purchasers’ current success at their already well-established businesses within the Fife area, we are confident they will be able to bring their regular custom as well as show off their restaurant and food skills to a new group of customers in the Glenrothes and Levenmouth area,” he said.
“The swift sale of 43 Main Street in Milton of Balgonie is a great example of a motivated purchaser keen to acquire a well-established business with genuine trading potential.”
The property was sold for an undisclosed sum from a guide price of ÂŁ275,000 for the freehold.
