Ancarraig Lodges, near Drumnadrochit, was purchased by Ether Hotel & Escapes Ltd using a model by Capitalise Invest which allows clients to collectively fund the purchase of a property by contributing a minimum of £10,000 each.
Richard Moss of Colliers International said the crowdfunding-style operation shows the range of investors interested in the Scottish tourism sector.
“We wish all the investors the very best with Ancarraig Lodges, which is a delightful property with a good trading record and potential for further development,” he said.
