Mixologists at a St Andrews bar have created two haggis cocktails for the outlet’s Burns Night celebrations.
The Adamson Bar’s ‘For The Laddies’ and ‘For The Lassies’ comprise a Martini flavoured with haggis in a spiced egg white base. Both drinks are on the menu and will be served at a Ladies’ Burns Supper tonight (January 21).
Julie Lewis, managing director, said: “Whilst challenging, we had a lot of fun coming up with the perfect base for a haggis cocktail recipe.
“We reckon Robert Burns would more than approve, and we look forward to raising many a glass in his name.”
