A venue in the west end of Glasgow has reopened with a new look and a familiar face behind the bar.
The Rio Cafe has been completely refurbished and its food and drink offer revamped. Grahame Skinner (pictured), former frontman of 1980s Glasgow band Hipsway, is managing the outlet.
Additions to the venue’s beer range include two Williams Bros beers with a connection to the band: Hipsway and Honey Thief (the title of one of the band’s songs).
Bar owner Iain Maclean said he is “sure the new-look Rio will hit the spot”.
