Firm aims to join up supply chain

A new Scottish consultancy which aims to bring wholesalers and suppliers together has been launched.
Scott MacDonald, a former drinks executive with brewing giant AB InBev, said his 1-2-1 Business Solutions company is designed to help suppliers “better understand the needs of their route-to-market customers and vice versa”.

MacDonald said his company aims to work with wholesalers and suppliers to help them “drive sales and profits by adopting a collaborative approach”; he said his current clients include wholesalers such as Batleys Scotland, Inverarity Morton, JW Filshill and Glasgow-based bar and restaurant group, Kained Holdings.

“My knowledge of how suppliers operate makes me ideally placed to help both them and their customers re-evaluate their businesses.
“Reducing costs is also crucial and I am keen to help companies focus on areas such as consumer insight and business planning.”
