Gateway to success?

An accommodation business in the ‘gateway to the Highlands’ has changed hands.
The Abbotsford Lodge in Callander was sold in a deal brokered by commercial property agency Smith & Clough.
The property comprises 17 letting rooms, a sun lounge, residents’ lounge, conservatory and dining room.
Four-bedroom owner’s accommodation was included in the sale.
Graeme Smith, who handled the sale, said the Abbotsford Lodge is “without doubt one of the finest guest houses in the area and over the years has built up an excellent reputation”.
“Purchased by our clients in 2005, a lot of time and effort was put into completely transforming the previous business,” he said.
