Turkey cocktails

SCOTTISH operators are being encouraged to celebrate American Thanksgiving today with Wild Turkey, as the firm behind the bourbon brand rolls out its festive suggested serve.
Called The Spirit of Diplomacy, the cocktail is said to have been inspired by the “great festive flavours” of American Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Flavours found in Wild Turkey’s winter serve include cranberry juice and orange which, when combined with Wild Turkey bourbon, are said to create “the perfect end to your Thanksgiving feast”.

The Spirit of
Diplomacy

• 50ml Wild Turkey 81
• 100ml Cranberry juice
• Two dashes orange bitters

Stir the ingredients together, pour over ice in a highball glass and top with a slice of orange and wedge of lime.
