A hotel on the Isle of Skye has officially reopened after a major refurbishment by pubco Punch Taverns.
The 24-bedroom Portree Hotel has undergone a root and branch five-month revamp costing a claimed £1 million. In addition to the bedrooms, the refurb project took in the 90-cover bar and restaurant, and function room.
Calum Gillies, who leases the hotel with Campbell Dickson, said the new look has received positive feedback from locals.
Punch’s Gavin Stevenson said the hotel has been “transformed into a stylish destination”.
