Customers at Edinburgh venue Tigerlily were given the chance to get creative with mixologist Andy Gemmell last week in a cocktail masterclass.
Gemmell, who is the director of drinks consultancy and training firm The Drink Cabinet, was on hand to teach a range of cocktail techniques while guests at the event were also invited to sample some of Gemmell’s signature serves and learn how to re-create these drinks themselves.
David Johnston of Tigerlily parent firm Montpeliers said the venue’s staff were “extremely excited to have an insight into Andy’s creations and learn first-hand how he mixes them all together”.
Tigerlily was relaunched in September of this year following a £500,000 refurbishment. Johnston said the new design is “all about making the venue more accessible and fun”.
