Whisky bottler Douglas Laing has released the fifth edition of its Big Peat Christmas whisky.
The limited edition Big Peat Christmas 2015 is described as a “cask strength amplification” of Douglas Laing’s Islay blended malt Scotch whisky.
The packaging for this year’s 53.8% ABV release shows the Big Peat character flying over Islay on a Reindeer sleigh.
Fred Laing, managing director of Douglas Laing, said: “Big Peat is fully regarded now as a brand, with devotees and consumers in many different markets globally.
“In the months running up to Christmas we see the unique, fun packaging of his Yuletide release attract a new collective of consumers.”
