Italian amaretto liqueur brand Disaronno has had a packaging revamp ahead of the festive season – with the help of fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.
Working in partnership with Illva Saronno, the firm behind Disaronno, Cavalli designed a new-look bottle which sports an animal print style. It is the brand’s third annual fashion collaboration in support of the Fashion 4 Development charity.
Augusto Reina, CEO of Illva Saronno, said the partnership with Cavalli is “a real honour and a truly special moment in the history of our brand”.
The packaging revamp follows the release of limited edition Disaronno expression, Disaronno Reserva, which saw the Italian liqueur brand team up with Scotch whisky producers.
Disaronno Reserva is a blend of Speyside malt whiskies and Disaronno aged in Marsala barrels.
The liqueur is later aged in wooden casks at the Cantine Florio winery in Sicily before being bottled.
