On-trade drinks supplier Matthew Clark has expanded its range of premium wines with 40 new products.
The majority of the new wines – 35 – are from Spain and Italy, in response to a growing demand for these products in high-end outlets.
The firm, which announced double digit growth across its premium wines earlier this year, has introduced the new wines six months ahead of its annual new list release in March 2016.
Producers joining the Spanish range include Casa Rojo and Bodegas Aranleón, while the Italian range includes Castello Vicchiomaggio from Tuscany and Borgo del Tiglio from Collio in the north east of the country.
Simon Jerrome, purchasing director – wine at Matthew Clark, said: “We have worked very hard to ensure we’ve found the best wines in both quality and value for our ever growing premium customer base.”
