Property firm Christie & Co is marketing the Clydesdale Hotel in the Lanarkshire town on behalf of the family which has owned the business for the past 18 years.
Located close to Hamilton West train station, Hamilton Football club and the West of Scotland University, the hotel has 15 bedrooms, a bar area with lounge, a 40-cover restaurant and a beer garden; there’s also car parking to the front and the rear of the property.
Brian Sheldon, regional director at Christie & Co’s Glasgow office, said: “The Clydesdale is a well-located and well-performing hotel with excellent growth potential.
“For the past 18 years, Clydesdale has been owned and operated by the same family. Due to changing circumstances, the owners have appointed Christie & Co to place the hotel on the market.
“While the hotel does currently cater for a variety of functions, including christenings and weddings, there is certainly scope for new owners to further develop this side of the business.”
