WEST Lothian College’s The Terrace Restaurant has been crowned Restaurant of the Year at the Food Awards Scotland 2015.
The restaurant, which functions as a facility for hospitality and professional cookery students to hone their skills, saw off competition from across the country to take the title.
West Lothian College principal Mhairi Harrington said she was “delighted” with the result.
“It’s a fantastic achievement for both the students who work in The Terrace and the staff who support them,” she said.
“To win against some of the top professional restaurants in Scotland is an amazing achievement and demonstrates the culinary skills and high level of customer care that is delivered consistently throughout the year by West Lothian College students.”
