New owner predicts growth

The new owner of a Clackmannanshire hotel is predicting further growth for the business.

Tormaukin[2]

The Tormaukin Hotel is in Glendevon, near Dollar, and Keith Shaw of Edinburgh-based Creaky Gate Ltd said he plans to capitalise on its location close to Gleneagles.

Alistair Letham, a director at Colliers International who handled the sale of the hotel, said: “With its central location close to many population centres and its proximity to Gleneagles, Tormaukin Hotel has for many years been an extremely popular destination.”

The hotel has 11 letting bedrooms, two lounges and two restaurants and the asking price of ÂŁ825,000 included three modern chalets.
