THE Shetland Distillery Company has launched its first range of whiskies which have been produced on the mainland but bottled on Unst.
The Shetland Reel Single Malt is available in four different cask strengths and is claimed to be the first ever single malt to be bottled in Shetland.
Stuart Nickerson, director of The Shetland Distillery Company, said the launch marks a “hugely exciting development” for the firm, which has long-term plans to build a working distillery on Unst.
