Under the deal, which is said to be the brand’s biggest so far, Edinburgh Gin will sponsor the summer celebrations in St Andrew Square Garden, with a specially-created Edinburgh Gin bar at the heart of the square during the event.
Alex Nicol, managing director of Edinburgh Gin, which is distributed by Ian Macleod Distillers, said the Festival activity is a “major development” for the brand.
“This three year deal is our biggest sponsorship commitment so far and it reflects the growth and expansion of the company,” he said.
“Edinburgh consumes more gin than any other UK city and there is no better time to celebrate that than during the Festival in the heart of the capital with Edinburgh Gin.”
