Two Scottish bartenders have been shortlisted for the final of a nationwide cocktail competition.
Run by Gruppo Campari-owned bourbon brand Wild Turkey, this is the third year the competition has been held in the UK.
Jamie Moran of the Tiki Bar and Kitsch Inn, Glasgow, won the Scottish heat of the competition while Ryan Sneddon of Tonic in Edinburgh was named as one of three ‘wild card’ competitors chosen by judges to take part in the final.
Moran and Sneddon will compete against seven other finalists in London on August 12 for a chance to become the UK champion.
In addition to the 2015 winners title, the successful bartender will also win a trip to the home of Wild Turkey in Kentucky as well as a tour of bars in New York.
The judging panel for the final of the competition will include last year’s winner, London bartender Joshua Reynolds.
