Pub group Punch Taverns helped its lessees prepare for the summer months this year with a range of support tools and free training.
The Punch Progress Training and Development Team offered the company’s lessees a suite of free workshops under the banner of ‘Best in Class’, which included ‘Social and Digital Media’, ‘Sales and Marketing’ and ‘Lead and Train Your Team’.
The aim was to help lessees address all elements of their summer offer.
Dan Armes, regional learning and development manager at Punch Taverns, said: “We want to help get our partners’ businesses in the best possible shape so they become the first place that customers think of when the sun does shine.
“It’s about seeing things through a customer’s eyes. Pub gardens and external areas should be clean, bright and appealing and there should be a clear plan for summer service.”
