A fresh new look for Edinburgh gin brand

Spencerfield Spirit Company has introduced a new-look bottle for its Edinburgh Gin brand.

The Italian-made Bruni Glass bottle is designed to have a more premium look and feel, as well as a more slimline size to make it easier to handle for bartenders.

It includes a cork stopper and embossed lines at the base, while the art deco influence of the design includes having the brand name etched into the glass at the front of the bottle. 

“In an increasingly crowded category we needed to stand out from the competitive set,” said Alex Nicol, managing director of Spencerfield Spirit Company.

“We also discussed the practical issues of handling the bottle with bartenders, consumers and our designers, Stranger and Stranger.

“I’m confident we have developed an elegant solution that is attractive to both consumers and trade alike.”

The Edinburgh Gin range includes Edinburgh Gin, Cannonball Gin, Edinburgh Raspberry Gin and Edinburgh Elderflower Gin.

The range is distributed across the UK by Ian Macleod Distillers.
