Morgenrot, the firm behind Argentinian beer Quilmes in the UK, has announced it will be expanding the brand’s range with the addition of two new variants to the on and off-trades.
The firm is rolling out Quilmes Stout – a 4.8% ABV beer which is said to have a light body and a moderate bitterness; and Quilmes Bock – a 6.3% ABV speciality lager which is copper red in colour.
Graham Archibald, sales director at Morgenrot, said the firm is “delighted” to extend its partnership with Quilmes through the addition of the Stout and Bock variants.
“The brand was one of the first beer brands Morgenrot worked with so extending the range is something we’ve wanted to do for a while and with UK consumers showing a real thirst for diverse beer styles, we’re looking forward to the feedback from the on and off-trade,” said Archibald.
