An established eatery in the Scottish Borders has changed hands and reopened as an Italian restaurant.
Il Buon Gusto, formerly Simply The Place, opened at the start of the month under new owners Anelia and Francesco Tabashka.
As well as reinventing the restaurant’s culinary offer, the pair have extended the outlet’s opening hours from three nights a week to six, offering lunch and dinner.
Alan Goldie, director at selling agent The Restaurant Agency, said: “We wish Anelia and Francesco every success with their new venture Il Buon Gusto.
“We are confident Selkirk will continue to benefit from the same high standards of cuisine as previously enjoyed from Simply The Place over the last two and a half years.”
