SCOTTISH chefs are set to do battle in the new series of BBC’s Great British Menu.
Jimmy Lee, from Glasgow’s Lychee Oriental, Graham Campbell of Glenesk Country House Hotel in Angus and Jak O’Donnell of The Sisters in Glasgow, will go head to head with chefs from across the UK for the chance to cook at a banquet at London’s Drapers Hall to mark 100 years of the Women’s Institute.
Chefs taking part in the series, which will air on BBC2 later this summer, will be tasked with producing 21st century dishes that “pay tribute to the generations of women who have helped make Britain the great culinary nation it is today”.
