THE owner of Swedish fruit cider brand älska has introduced two seasonal flavours to its range.
Their launch in a “sleek can” coincides with the busy summer period and is aimed at festivals and the late night sector.
Brand owner The Swedish Cider Company has created two flavours, Pear & Lychee and Peach & Raspberry, which it’s claimed are “drier than other fruit ciders”. They are intended to appeal to those who wouldn’t normally drink cider.
The new range join existing Nordic Berries and Strawberry & Lime variants and will be sold in 330ml cans, which it’s claimed is a first for the fruit cider market.
David Hughes, sales and marketing director at The Swedish Cider Company, said: “We pride ourselves on innovation and are really excited to launch the first sleek can fruit cider in the UK.
“We have designed this to appeal to the convenience and al fresco market. The stylish, neat and smart packaging is perfect for festivals, nightclubs or during a picnic in the sun.”
