Screen time for Spanish lager brand

THE firm behind Spanish lager brand Estrella Damm in the UK is gearing up for a summer push which sees the brand return to TV screens and cinemas.

Charles Wells, which markets Estrella Damm in the UK, claims the campaign, which launched earlier this month, is about sharing great experiences with friends.

The Catalonian lager, it’s claimed, is “known for its links with gastronomy, music and culture”. These Mediterranean interests are brought to life in the new 30-second ‘Mallorca’ advert, which will appear in cinemas as well as on Sky TV and Channel Four over the summer.

Genna Burchell, marketing manager for world beers at Charles Wells, said: “Key advertising slots throughout the summer means we’ll be able to bring the Estrella Damm story to a wider audience, while also maintaining our more personal connection with drinkers via our event sponsorships and social media pages.”
