The bed and breakfast business has changed hands after seven years under the previous owners, who are said to have extended and refurbished the property in 2008. They sold the business in order to retire.

Glede Knowe Guest House comprises seven letting rooms, five of which are en suite, a residents’ lounge, and dining room with a buffet bar and seating for 20 covers.

Owner’s accommodation at Glede Knowe Guest House comprises one bedroom, bathroom, an office, lounge and kitchen.

Safa Sultan, sales negotiator at Bruce & Co, said the firm was “really happy that Glede Knowe House has found great new owners within a year of coming on the market” and wished the new owners “all the best for the business”.

Glede Knowe Guest House was sold on a freehold basis for ÂŁ675,000. Finance for the purchase of the business was provided by RBS.
