Edinburgh steak restaurant chain Buffalo Grill has come onto the books of The Restaurant Agency, offering prospective buyers the chance to snap up a two-unit restaurant group which has operated in the city since 1986.
Buffalo Grill Stockbridge and Buffalo Grill Chapel Street are being sold as going concerns due to the current owner’s retirement.
Both sites are said to have a capacity of 40 covers and occupy ground floor units.
The Stockbridge site, which has been trading for 16 years, is licensed while the original unit on Chapel Street currently operates on a ‘BYOB’ basis.
The Restaurant Agency is inviting offers over £215,000 for the leasehold of both sites, although consideration will be given for purchase of an individual site.
The sale includes fixtures and fittings as well as intellectual property rights for the Buffalo Grill brand and the restaurant’s website.
Alan Goldie, director of The Restaurant Agency, said the firm is “thrilled to be marketing the Buffalo Grills, which is truly a rare opportunity given the first time on the market in many years for both offerings”.
