SPECIALIST beer importer and distributor James Clay has introduced German lager to the UK.
The 5% ABV beer, described as light, with a spicy flavour, is produced at Berliner-Kindl-Schultheiss-Brauerei in Berlin and is available to the trade in kegs as well as 355ml bottles.
Jörg Peter of Berliner-Kindl-Schultheiss-Brauerei said Berliner Pilsner “encompasses the fantastic attitude and philosophy of Germany’s complex capital”.
