SOFT drinks supplier Nichols Dispense Scotland has unveiled plans for further expansion in Scotland on the back of an exclusive deal with Coca-Cola.

The firm, which supplies Irn-Bru and Vimto on dispense, has added Coca-Cola to its range, which
it says makes it the first independent ‘bag-in-box’ supplier of the brand outside of Coca-Cola itself.

After confirming the deal, Nichols Dispense Scotland unveiled plans to launch a depot in Stirling, which it said will more than double its capacity. The move from Dunblane to the 10,000 sq ft Stirling depot adds to an existing satellite depot in Aberdeen.

The investment by Nichols Dispense Scotland owner, Nichols Plc, is said to be part of a UK-wide growth strategy targeting the ‘out of home’ channel.

“Nichols Dispense Scotland has a fantastic portfolio with the network and quality service to back it up,” said trading director Nick Yates. “The deal with Coca-Cola only adds to our credibility as the leading supplier in the market and expansion through a bigger depot enables us to capitalise on the significant opportunities for growth.”
