A NEW low-calorie soft drinks range and fresh marketing activity are part of a major push behind mixer brand Schweppes.
Soft drinks giant Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has launched two variants of low-calorie Schweppes Sparkling Juice Drink in 275ml bottles: Grapefruit & Blood Orange and Lemon & Elderflower. It has also unveiled plans for significant marketing activity, including on-trade point of sale material and new adverts, featuring the strapline ‘separating men from boys, separating women from girls’; the ad campaign will run across on-demand TV, cinema, digital and outdoor media.
Caroline Cater, operational marketing director at CCE, said the new range and activity aim to build on Schweppes’ “loyal following”.
“The new brand proposition and marketing support is an exciting step-change for Schweppes and will help to support our customers by driving brand awareness with our target audience,” she said.
