URBAN foraging continues to be the focal point of the ongoing campaign supporting Caorunn gin, as the brand’s ‘Forage to Glass’ initiative is expanded.
The initiative, which was launched last year, invited bartenders to forage in urban areas under the guidance of forager David Winnard and use their foraged ingredients in home-made syrups to craft their own Caorunn gin cocktails.
The first event kicks off in London on May 18 and will be followed by events across seven cities including Aberdeen and Glasgow.
Caorunn master distiller Simon Buley said rolling out the initiative nationwide “is a great way to bring to life the importance of foraged botanicals”.
