AN MSP has petitioned the Scottish Government to introduce a statutory code of practice for pub companies in Scotland and an end to the beer tie.
The members’ business motion was submitted by Paul Martin, Labour MSP for Glasgow Provan.
John Gilligan of Tennent Caledonian Breweries said: “This is a massive step in the right direction and we wholeheartedly welcome the motion.”
