SCOTTISH drinks industry veteran John Alexander McRae has passed away.
Known as Sandy to all, McRae spent over 30 years in the trade working with Whitbread from 1953 to 1983 then Wm Hay & Sons until his retirement in 1991.
He leaves a son and two grandchildren.
