Restaurant with rooms is refurbished

HIGHLAND fine dining restaurant with rooms The Cross at Kingussie has reopened after a refurbishment.

In addition to the winter revamp, which saw several of the bathrooms in the building’s eight letting bedrooms upgraded and the installation of a new wood-burning stove in the lounge area, the venue has introduced several offers targeting skiers.

Deals include a two night midweek stay with three-course dinner each night for £360 per couple.

“During January we certainly had our work cut out for us,” said co-owner Celia Kitchingman.
