THE firm behind Polish vodka brand Belvedere is to release two limited edition bottles to celebrate a collaboration with the makers of new James Bond film Spectre.
In what LVMH group described as an “unprecedented move”, the image of Belvedere Palace is to be replaced with one of MI6 headquarters on the limited edition bottles; the brand’s ‘signature’ blue colour palette will be switched for green in a bid to mirror the spy agency’s ink of choice.
The firm said it will create a “truly memorable collector’s edition of 100 bottles”.
Belvedere’s illuminating Silver Sabre bottles will also be given a “007 twist”.
As part of the brand’s tie up with the 24th Bond film, which is due for release on November 6, 2015, a global advertising campaign, that’s said to include a strong focus on the on-trade, will be launched next month.
Charles Gibb, president of Belvedere vodka, said: “James Bond is recognised as the most admired and influential tastemaker in the world.
“We’re delighted that Belvedere will be partnering with Spectre, our largest global partnership to date.”
Dwight Caines, president of theatrical marketing for Sony Pictures, said: “James Bond’s cool attitude and stylish sophistication have always gone hand in hand with his choice of vodka Martini.
“Belvedere is a perfect match.”
