TWO Scottish mixologists have been named runners-up in a UK cocktail competition.
The bartenders – Jonny Gausinet of The Bon Vivant in Edinburgh (back right) and Ciaran Russell from The Tippling House, Aberdeen (front left) – took second and third places, respectively, in the competition, for Ron Abuelo rum.
Hedi Berkaoui of All Star Lanes, London (front right) was the overall winner of the competition.
Entrants were asked to create a drink using shaved ice and Ron Abuelo rum.
The contest, organised by Ron Abuelo’s UK distributor, Hi-Spirits, was open to any bartender from an outlet stocking the Ron Abuelo range.
