AN accommodation business overlooking one of Scotland’s most famous lochs is up for sale.

Property firm Strutt & Parker is marketing Loch Ness Lodge and Cottages, which is said to offer “breathtaking views” across Loch Ness.
Currently trading as a “very successful” luxury B&B and wedding venue, Loch Ness Lodge comprises seven individually-designed en suite bedrooms, a drawing room, dining room and snug; there’s also a therapy room and spa with a hot tub and sauna.

The lodge has several successful years behind it as a luxury B&B and a hotel.

Adjoining the Lodge, are the two-bedroom Lodge Cottage and one-bedroom Ness-side Cottage.
Strutt & Parker is marketing Loch Ness Lodge, Lodge Cottage and Ness-side Cottage at offers over £1.25 million.
There are a further three cottages available as individual lots: one-bedroom Woodside Cottage; Lochview Cottage, which also has one bedroom; and two-bedroom Braeside Cottage.
There is also the opportunity to purchase a three-acre development site to the south west of the Lodge with access to 100 metres of Loch Ness shoreline.
Kevin Maley, a partner at Strutt & Parker’s Inverness office, said: “The lodge has several successful years behind it as both a B&B and a hotel/luxury use venue and it is a very attractive prospect for hoteliers, restaurateurs and others in the hospitality industry, who can be secure in the knowledge they are taking on a viable going concern and for whom the changeover process would be relatively straightforward.
“It offers great potential for development, either through business expansion or diversification.”
