THE Scran & Scallie in Edinburgh has appointed a new restaurant manager.

Levi Sweeney-McGrath (right), who is from County Limerick in Ireland, has a family background in hospitality, having helped to open and run her family pub, the Wild Honey Inn in County Clare, which achieved a Bib Gourmand in 2010. She has joined The Scran & Scallie – a pub with dining created by the team behind The Kitchin and Castle Terrace Restaurant – from The Kitchin, where she has worked since 2012.
Chef Tom Kitchin said: “We’re really pleased to have Levi on board. She’s talented and passionate and has been a part of our team for many years.”
