AN established Indian restaurant in one of the Highlands’ major tourist resorts has come onto the books of property firm Christie & Co.

Located on the pedestrianised High Street in Fort William, the family-run Indian Garden Restaurant was established around 30 years ago.
The 60-cover restaurant is decorated in traditional Indian style and offers special Tandoori-style lunch and dinner menus and a takeaway service.
Christie & Co’s Barry McNeil, who is marketing the premises with a price tag of offers over £350,000 for the freehold, said: “Fort William has long been renowned as the ‘outdoor capital of the UK’ and it is a rarity to find a property for sale right in the heart of this tourist centre.”
