PROOF Drinks has been appointed to handle the UK distribution and marketing for Sloane’s Premium Dry Gin.
The firm, which distributes brands such as Rebellion Rum and herbal liqueur Agwa De Bolivia, has scheduled a range of events to promote the brand, which was launched in the UK two years ago. Activity includes tasting and masterclass sessions throughout the UK.
Bottled at 40% ABV, Sloane’s Gin is said to combine ‘traditional’ botanicals such as juniper berries, coriander seeds, liquorice root and cardamom pods with ‘unexpected’ choices such as vanilla pods, fresh oranges and lemons, iris root and angelica root.
The botanicals in Sloane’s Gin are said to have been inspired by the botanical collection of Sir Hans Sloane, the 18th century British physician and philanthropist.
