AMERICAN-style cider brand Hornsby’s has been bolstered with the introduction of a new blueberry flavour.
Hornsby’s Crisp Apple Cider with Blueberry, which has an ABV of 4% ABV, is the latest addition to the range, which is part of C&C Group.
Hornsby’s brand manager Amy Burns said blueberry was an obvious addition to the range, which comprises apple and pear with strawberry and lime variants, due to the fruit’s growing popularity in the UK in recent years.
“Hornsby’s has opened up a large growth area in the cider market and with two fantastic flavours already under our belt, blueberry was a natural progression,” she said.
“Sweet, crisp and refreshing, it blends the best of flavours from both sides of the Atlantic, with a nod to our laid-back California roots.”
The new flavour comes a year after Hornsby’s was launched in the UK on-trade.
