BEER festival Craft Beer Rising is coming to Scotland this September with an event at Glasgow’s Drygate Brewery.
The event, which was launched in 2012 and has so far been confined to London, combines craft beer with ‘street food’, music and a selection of talks and demonstrations – including collaborative brewing between the attending breweries.
The Glasgow festival will take place at Drygate Brewery between September 19 and 21 and is expected to feature around 200 beers from 45 different brewers.
Exhibitors will include Tempest Brew Co, Beavertown, Thistly Cross and Harbour.
“We can’t wait to open our doors to Craft Beer Rising and have the opportunity to create experimental beers and share ideas with some of the world’s most forward-thinking breweries as part of the festival,” said Alessandra Confessore, one of the three brewers at Drygate.
