DIAGEO has released a new limited edition Tanqueray gin said to be based on an original recipe from the brand’s founder.
The limited edition gin has been launched in selected on-trade venues with 100,000 individually numbered bottles available worldwide.
Master distiller Tom Nichol said it was an “honour to be privy to Charles Tanqueray’s recipe book and to bring back a great gin, which reflects the classic Old Tom style but is elevated further by new distilling techniques”.
The launch of Tanqueray Old Tom follows the release of Tanqueray Malacca in 2013.
